Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| A forwarded lesson is red | It is now overdue. Forwarding does not mark it completed. |
| Today's open work turns red | Check the family timezone and the 5 PM daily cutoff. |
| A skipped lesson does not turn red | Skipped work remains in the record without completion credit and is excluded from missed work. |
| Generator or Forward All cannot fit the lessons | Review the subject weekdays, breaks and school-year end. Revise those choices and preview again. |
| A spreadsheet imported the wrong columns | Return to the import preview and correct the interpretation before confirming. |
| Attendance differs from scheduled days | Attendance uses actual completion dates and explicit parent-marked days. Planned dates are a different measure. |
| Hours seem too high | Check for minutes recorded both on a lesson and as a separate activity. |
| The catalog seems empty | Clear the age, category, worldview and search filters. Broaden the query. |
| An AI helper cannot run | Check internet access and any usage-limit message; ordinary forms remain available. |
| Another device does not show an update | Check whether the original device still has work waiting to sync. |
| Billing access has ended | Open Billing to review payment or reactivation and use its export link if needed. |
| You cannot see Connections | MCP is a separate dev pilot and owner-only workflow; the public app does not currently provide it. |
An action was interrupted
An interrupted response does not prove that nothing was saved. Inspect the current lesson, report or draft before trying again. Preserve any unsynced device work. For a saved AI proposal, use the draft recovery guide before asking the assistant to make a new proposal.
Before contacting support
Record the failed step and a short error message, with the time and timezone. Describe the change you expected. Send a minimal example without private student details, exported records, credentials or full sign-in URLs. Community and help explains where to start.
