Homeroom

Connect your AI assistant

Start in Connections. Choose your provider for instructions and this site's setup availability. Sign in to your own Homeroom account when prompted.

Connect using your family owner account. Your provider must support MCP 2026-07-28 and OAuth with PKCE. Its subscription, usage limits and custom-connector availability are separate from Homeroom. The enabled setup paths are listed on Connections.

A listing is not proof of compatibility. Gemini and other clients need their own reviewed registration. Never use another provider's credentials or share a password, token or client secret in chat.

Make your first request

Ask your assistant: Use Homeroom to help with our learning plan. I will choose the child privately. Check whether there is existing work, then guide me through the next steps. Do not save a draft until I approve the proposal.

Return to Pending AI requests to choose the child. Add children only in Homeroom, then approve the target and continue in your assistant.

For existing work, the assistant should ask what you need. For a fresh start, plan the school year, school days, breaks, curriculum and workload first. Prefer the Homeroom catalog; custom lessons and imports from another planner can also become private drafts.

Review and correct saved plans in Private change drafts. Prepare the exact preview, then confirm Apply inside Homeroom. Saving or restoring a draft never applies it.

Keep identities in Homeroom

Say the selected child in your assistant. Homeroom uses a temporary, connection-bound reference instead of sending the child's name or database ID. Draft approval shares only whether to start year planning or ask about existing work, not study details.

Do not paste names, contact details, passwords or private records into an external chat. We cannot remove information you type or allow a browser assistant to read in another company's service. Review imported text for identifying information.

Reading a safe study summary needs separate approval. Draft previews, corrections and Apply stay in Homeroom.

Disconnect or troubleshoot

End secure review here, then disconnect Homeroom in your provider's connector settings. Ending review only locks this browser's private review; it does not revoke the provider connection. Disconnecting does not delete saved plans or erase the provider's chat history.

An authorized connection means Homeroom has a current OAuth grant. It does not prove the provider can reach the server right now. Refresh this page after connecting or disconnecting; provider-side removal may not immediately revoke the grant.

If permissions or connection errors persist, stop and report the provider, time and failed step. Never send a password, token, client secret or full authorization URL. Each provider needs its own approved registration. Do not borrow another provider's credentials.
